Hi there. I’m Dakoda. I'm a writer, editor, researcher, game designer, consultant, university tutor, and avid sleeper.

I seem to collect a lot of hats.

Through a series of strange, hopefully delightful events, you have arrived at my website. This is where I keep my collection of words and games, as you might have deduced. This is a mini online portfolio, of sorts. Feel free to offer me work!

Qualifications:

• Current: Doctorate of Creative Arts, where I am researching representation of chronic conditions in videogames
• Master of Arts (2014), majoring in writing, editing, and publishing
• Bachelor of Journalism (2012) with some politics and creative writing thrown in for kicks

When I’m not playing videogames or writing, I like to nap, eat a lot of food, play non-electronic games (!), spend time with friends, or try to live a healthy, happy lifestyle.
